That's the only way to explain why I just used photoshop to combine the game Portal with the classic Goatse image.
Josh brought this to hang in our office. It's the best black velvet
painting in human history.

Thinking about losing it when we get back to 103 degree heat in Texas.
That rooftop garden is great.
I can't really believe I did this, but I couldn't resist messaging Nick Frost and making a suggestion for his upcoming film with Seth Rogen: http://twitter.com/xkot/status/19912609 11
I'm sure the restraining order will arrive any day now.

The last time I saw her kids, Dialo was jumping up and down naked on his grandma's couch and Selah was just learning to crawl. They're so big now, it's freaky. I'm really glad I got to see them again when we visited L.A.
Owen and Dave... those boys are so cute.
Isn't that the greatest smile in the world?

Finally getting settled after the trip to L.A. and a long week catching up (well, trying anyway) at work. Ryan's napping before his shift tonight while I go through my photos.
I'm so glad we were able to make it out to California for the wedding. Not only did we bask in the bright sunshine and cool breeze, we got to spend time with some of our favorite people from all corners of the country. I only see them every couple years, but like extended family, they mean a hell of a lot.
So! Now that Matty has called out the Texas boys on not posting our pictures, here's a link to all 73 of mine on Flickr!

Ryan and I were eating lunch when the waitress came over and said "guys, I want to do a good deed here, so do you mind if I ask... do you have girlfriends?"
Ryan and I exchanged looks. I answered "nope."
Then she asked "so are you guys, like, hairy?" making a circular motion over her chest, "because my friend over there using the computer... look at her real quick right now! Do you see her? She wanted me to get your phone numbers because she really likes... big, you know, hairy guys."
Ryan was speechless and looked at me to answer. I smiled and said "that's cool, so do we."
The waitress was confused. "You like, um, what do you mean?"
"We like big hairy guys too." She's still not getting it. "We're a couple," I added.
The waitress was clearly flummoxed by this point. "Oh! So you're like... wow. Ok. I'm so sorry! I feel really awkward now. Um, can I take these empty plates?"
Ryan and I were both laughing at that point and told her it was fine, we thought it was funny. When she was gone I asked Ryan if we should offer to let her friend watch us make out, but we didn't want to fluster her any further. Before we left she came back to apologize again and say she didn't mean to be inappropriate - we reassured her everything was ok.
Driving away in the car, Ryan said "that girl's friend... big ole slut! She wanted BOTH our numbers!"

It was amazing to see her work i person and Ryan was delighted to be there. So glad we made it to LA to attend.
Me and Margarita, friends since junior high, reunited after 10+ years. It was great to see her again!
It's my favorite time of the year... things are green & growing, but there's still a cool breeze on the air. Just enough sun, not too hot, and the rare time Texas seems to come alive with color.
